ARE YOU PAYING YOUR PRIVATE HEALTH – Bupa, HEALTH PARTNERS or Nib – SUBSRCIPTION THROUGH THE FIRE SERVICE FUND?
IF NOT – WHY NOT?
The Committee of Management is concerned that it has become apparent that a significant number of Members are not paying their subscriptions to our above Health Insurers through The Fire Service Fund.
The benefit of members paying their subscriptions through The Fund is two fold – Firstly The Fund is then in a position to assist members with any hospital excess payments they or their family may incur by the following: Bupa up to $250- per calendar year, Health Partners up to $300 per calendar year and Nib up to $200 per calendar year. Then Secondly, these Health Insurers pay The Fire Service Fund a commission on subscriptions The Fund collects on behalf of our members, allowing The Fund the ability to make these hospital excess payments and contribute to the full range of benefits to our members.
If you currently pay directly to one of our above Health insurers, rather than through The Fund, please contact The Fund’s Office as it is quite a simple procedure to change methods of payment.
